New Books

New Graphic Novel Collection!

Due to popular demand, the library is expanding its collection of books written in graphic novel format. These graphic novels come from America, Japan, and other countries and are sorted into adult, young adult, and children's collections. The library selects graphic novels based on popularity and critical acclaim, and we expect this collection to become very popular, especially among our teen readers!

Some graphic novels may reflect different cultural standards and artistic styles and the novels written for older readers may contain sensitive materials. We are careful to classify these books for the intended age group, but you may need to choose which materials are appropriate for you or your family. The Japanese graphic novels (or manga) will usually list a rating on the book's cover, which will help you in making your selections.

The children's graphic novel collection is recommended for ages 7-11. Older readers may also enjoy many of the titles in this collection.

The young adult graphic novel collection is recommended for ages 12+. Older readers may also enjoy many of the titles in this collection.

The adult graphic novel collection is recommended for ages 16+.
